Description: The main structures are "El Castillo", "Templo de los Frescos" and "Templo del Dios descendente"

Site Importance: The city received the name in ancient Maya Zama (which translates as dawn or morning). Insted, Tulum (translated as palisade or wall) it seems to have come into use when the city was in ruins.
